Development Concept South Lucerne

South Lucerne is a dynamic city district with sprawl character. Numerous development and building projects are planned or underway in the area between Lucerne, Kriens and Horw. The new planning scheme fuses the three towns into a new common planning unit under the name of South Lucerne. Its  goal is to create coherence between the many individuals planning projects underway with the landscape as well as to facilitate synergies between them.

A major North South green corridor provides orientation and readability in the disperse building areas and connects them to the Lake of Lucerne and its recreational zones in the south.
