A central goal of the design is to revitalize the neighborhood. To achieve this, the ground floor is designed as a permeable, publicly accessible spatial structure. New connections from the alley to the park, a spacious passageway under the stepped building, and the design of the elevated ground floor apartments connect the green space with the former industrial area. The result is a lively, fully active ground floor with a high degree of spatial openness and quality of stay – both at the edges and within the complex.
