The Ideas Workshop for Munich North brought together five planning teams and around 1,000 participants in November 2025 to develop and discuss visions for future urban development. Through open dialogue, expert input, and public engagement, the event laid the groundwork for the next planning phase, with results to be presented in March 2025.

Each year, Studio Vulkan brings together its teams from Zurich and Munich for a late-summer camp designed to foster collaboration and exchange. This year’s gathering took place in Romanshorn on the shores of Lake Constance, where team members explored new ideas, shared knowledge, and strengthened connections through joint activities and informal discussions – culminating, as always, in a shared celebration.

In a 1:1 scale workshop at Oerliker Park, participants explored the relationship between drawing, space, and social interaction. Through physical performance and spatial positioning, students simulated park scenarios to examine density and intimacy. Developed by Urša Habič and Dominik Bueckers with the LUS* Chair, the workshop offered a playful, hands-on approach to understanding landscape through drawing and embodied experience.
