Studio Vulkan presents: Built Projects is a series of guided visits offering on-site insights into realised landscape architecture projects, focusing on design concepts, implementation, and spatial transformation processes, and is aimed at both professionals and students of landscape architecture.

The City of Zurich’s White Paper “Zurich Main Station 2050,” presented through a public exhibition, showcases a forward-looking vision for transforming the station area into a vibrant, human-scaled urban space that balances mobility, climate adaptation, and long-term environmental quality.

Studio Vulkan participated in the German Pavilion’s STRESSTEST exhibition at the 19th International Architecture Biennale in Venice, addressing the growing pressures on public space from climate change, biodiversity loss, and social unrest. The exhibition serves as both a call to awareness and a collective invitation to take bold, responsible action.

Studio Vulkan is contributing to the international exhibition Trees, Time, Architecture!, which examines the relationship between trees and the built environment. Highlighting the contrast between the slow growth of trees and the urgency of climate-responsive design, the exhibition explores how trees – both living and as material – can inform sustainable architectural practices. Studio Vulkan presents a photographic series by Daniela Valentini, showcasing projects where trees are central to the spatial, ecological, and atmospheric experience.

At the Kontaktgespräche 2025 event at the University of Applied Sciences Rapperswil-Jona, Studio Vulkan engaged with students by showcasing our work through sketches, models, and project plans, fostering lively discussions about our projects, internship opportunities, and professional experiences.
