RZU excursion on urban and landscape development in Zurich North
On 28 March 2026, the RZU Executive Board will conduct a professional excursion to the northern part of the Greater Zurich Area, together with senior representatives from politics and public administration of the metropolitan regions of Basel, Bern, and Zurich. The programme will focus on current developments in housing, mobility infrastructure, and large-scale landscape transformation, with site visits in Regensdorf (Zwhatt), Zurich Schwamendingen (Überlandpark), and along the Glatt corridor extending to Dübendorf (Fil Bleu).
The guided tour of the Fil Bleu project, designed by Studio Vulkan, will be led by Dominik Bueckers. He will present the landscape-architectural framework, the spatial and ecological structuring principles, and the project’s integration within the broader territorial landscape context.
