On 26 February 2026, a professional discussion on the future of the urban space surrounding Zurich Main Station took place at Maison Shift. The focus was on the white paper “Aufbruch in den Stadtraum Hauptbahnhof 2050”, which served as a strategic framework for the continued transformation of this central urban area.

Expert input presentations, followed by a panel discussion with specialists in architecture, landscape architecture and urban development, provided in-depth insights into the planning process to date and outlined concrete perspectives for the years ahead. Among the panel participants was Lukas Schweingruber (Studio Vulkan).
