Invitation to the focus discussions on public space

Public space is a central site of social interaction and collective life. In the new event series Schwerpunktgespräche öffentlicher Raum, experts from architecture, art, and urban research discuss the history, significance, and future design of public space.

The series is conceived as a set of public lectures and panel discussions, each focusing on a specific theme—from the origins of public spaces and current developments to critical questions of use and accessibility.

The first talk takes place already this Wednesday and opens the series with a lecture on the history, meaning, and form of public space. Further information and all dates can be found at the following link:
