The conference “Impact through Collaboration – Added Value for Biodiversity and Landscape”, organised by the Federal Office for the Environment (Bundesamt für Umwelt – BAFU), took place on Wednesday, 18 March 2026 at the Stadion Wankdorf in Bern.

The event focused on projects in which collaboration across professional fields and policy areas played a central role and that generated benefits for biodiversity, landscape, and society as a whole. Through selected case studies, the conference highlighted the factors that supported successful cooperation and explored how challenges in interdisciplinary planning processes could be addressed.

In the thematic session “Urban Space”, Dominik Bueckers took part in the discussion and presented the project Ziegeleipark Horw (Canton of Lucerne).
